Item description:

here is a very unusual cover from the colombian embassy in wash. d.c. to san francisco, calif. and has a great cinderella label on the back showing a colombian coffee plant with beans. and the cajun loves colombian coffee (so where is juan valdez and his burro?). this also has a scarce anderson cachet with the winged mercury. only 7 stamps were issued in 1944 and the covers command a better premium than other years. this is certainly unique and just another great find from cajunsr. auctions. happy bidding.
