My dad was a photographer in miami beach and I have many, many of his postcards. Some are uncirculated. These are from the 50's & 60's. I also have alot of the negatives and transparencies. I have no idea where to start or if there is a market for these. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The art deco hotels of Miami Beach are some of the more desired Miami collectible postcards.
Look at the Miami section of this site to get an idea of retail value.
A dealer will pay up to 39% of retail for items that will sell over time and less for common views and more for rare views.
Jewish only and black only hotels get the highest prices, and hence the best value for you.
Email or post if you have any other questions.
Do a Google search for Florida Post Card club, Miami Beach postcard, Postcard Dealer, and Postcard club pompano beach to gather more info.
I would also suggest contacting the Miami Historical society to see if they are interested.

Hi again, I found a group that will be able to help you.
See the web page of the Tropical Postcard club in Florida..
tropicalpcc.com/Members_Classifieds.htm
Their classified section will give you many potential buyers for your stuff.
I would also suggest listing some here on Delcampe. I would be interested in some as I am sure others would be also. Stefano
