I have about 250 items listed on Delcampe but I have not had a bid for over a week.
Is everyone on holiday? or is there some other reason. ....... I do not think my prices are too high, they are much the same as those which sold for me on another site
Any ideas, anybody ?

On holiday, flooded out,no money,.Normally May June July August are very slow months ,due to school holidays and believe it or not the Old aged pensioners take a SUUUUUUUUmer holidays also.

I know what you mean about no bits. I have over 1,000 baseball cards up and running and not even a nibble. I have sold on other sites and have great feed back but it is under a new onwer is a bad person. I only ask actual shipping cost and no hidden fees yet no bids. I wish I coud help you out. I wonder if part of the problem is that buyers were put off by that Computer Fiasco on this site in June?
I find that my sales on E---- are down, but still ticking over. Here its just dead.

Your buyers are not going to wait around for a search engine that takes 2 to 3 minutes to bring up each and every page of material........if it's not there in 30 seconds they are gone.I have given up conducting searches into possible productive areas..........I have my five favorite searches arrive every morning and if there is something there I pursue it if not I return the next day not wasting any more time.Delcampe is a great idea and has the potential to be the main player in the collecting auction business but if it does not work as it should it is just another automobile without wheels.

You're all forgetting an important fact.

I came to know this site in 2003, it was then running smoothly, but sellers weren't happy about it 'cause there weren't many buyers.

With the mess E... has made last year, many new members came to Delcampe 'cause the costs were to high on E... or for other obvious reasons.

To absorb the amount of theyre new members, Delcampe bought some new servers with the problems we knew in June. I guess they should get some more heavy material & this material has an enormous cost...

Please do not compare Delcampe with E..., Delcampe is an auction site for collecting items, E... is not only that, theyre financial possibilities are much higher than those of Delcampe.

I guess the team is doing the best they can, but putting wheels on, when the battery's flat won't help to run the engine.

I may sound like a sucker, but I allways trusted Delcampe and even if it's sometimes not easy to wait for a minute or 2, I'd rather wait on a website that I appreciate.

As for the low rate of your sellings, I don't anymore collect coins, so I can't help you to bring them up...

To be honest, our Delcampe site is not yet known enough for sport cards. I know we have some good sellers, but our reputation is presently based on stamps, postcards and coins.

My team and I work on other categories too, but it needs some time... do not hesitate to invite your friends, buyers and sellers, to visit your store and join us.

I know what you mean about the lack of interest in sports cards is one of the reasons for coming here. Strange huh. Let me explain myself to you and everyone else reading this.
I've been told by some others that sports cards is rare to come by and so far I think I'm the first one to start listing them here. Why? I want to be different, a one of a kind type of lady that gets it started for others to come in and start selling their sports card as well.
I also know it will take time to get them all up and running cause trust me I haven't even started yet.
All I ask is to allow me to try and sell. Once I get enough cards up then I will invite others to come in and check me out Not to mention when the price says .10 or more cents that is what I mean, other then the actual shipping costs and nothing more.
I got in touch with Luke about me being a moderator cause I have done it before and he told me he would welcome me to help out and I did replied with no answer. Bummed out and bored to tears.
