  Making a bid and than it's declined     Tue 6th Nov 2007 03:21:18

I made a lower bid on a item.
I received an email that the offer was declined.
Weeks later my lower bid was now excepted.
Doe's that seem right?
Once an offer is declined it has expired?
Anyways I tired to let delcampe and the seller know about this issue and really no one could help or correct this or explain I was forced to purchase the item after weeks of receiving No from my original offer.
Has this happen to anyone out there?

I have noticed that when I decline a lower offer, the offer stays in my "lower bids" page for some time (and then expires after how long?)

The function is a great one to have and the options for declining/accepting are great (there are a couple of ways to do each) but perhaps if an offer is declined it should expire immediately--that way, the above problem would not occur.

I agree.
The another problem is when customer service can't help you need them the most.

Hello !

when you make a lower offer , it remains untill you remove it from your "lower offers" ... if the seller changes his mind , he can accept it even after years ? (I don't think there is any time limit)

I also believe it's stupid ... the best is to remove any lower offer that is not accepted to prevent any problems ..

Regards.
